Industrial Nanotech’s Nansulate High Heat Used in OEM Application for Surface Temperature Reducti Print E-mail

Industrial Nanotech, a company that specialises in nanotechnology innovation and product development, today announced that LS Industries is using Nansulate High Heat as an OEM application to reduce the surface temperature of the industrial equipment it produces. LS Industries (http://www.lsindustries.com/) is a designer and manufacturer of large metal cleaning ovens for the industrial and automotive markets.

The company applied Nansulate High Heat to the outside of its Head and Block Blasters, which are Engine Block burn-off ovens used in the process of refurbishing engines, to reduce the surface temperature to safe levels for workers and to increase their efficiency. Industrial Nanotech’s extreme temperature coating reduced the ovens’ surface temperature by up to 40%, from 168°F to between 100 and 115°F.

“The effect of Nansulate High Heat on LS Industries’ industrial equipment was significant. The coating caused a considerable decrease in surface temperature to a level below what is considered to be a temperature that poses a safety threat to workers,” explained Steve Lewis, President of Pioneer Builders, exclusive distributor of Nansulate coatings.

According to LS Industries, the company is using Nansulate HH not only to provide superior thermal insulation and lower the surface temperature of its ovens, but also to repair and prevent the corrosion process that has taken effect and caused equipment problems in the past. The Company is applying a second coat of Nansulate HH to each oven for this purpose. Additionally, LS Industries will offer Nansulate High Heat on all of its products that require insulation, rust and corrosion protection.
