CVD Equipment Corporation (CVD) has been selected by CNT Technologies (CNT) to supply an EasyTube 3000 Carbon Nanotube System for use by Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) to further develop the commercialisation of carbon nanotube fibres. Recent articles discussing the CNT and LANL relationship are available at http://www.lanl.gov/news/index.php?fuseaction=home.story&story_id=8855 and http://www.freenewmexican.com/news/48187.html. The ultra strong, lightweight carbon-nanotube fibres are stronger than steel and lighter in weight. Applications abound for the use of these fibres in aircraft, automobiles, defence and numerous other applications.
